The Dean of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine - A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri has approved
Pranic Healing in Medicine course as part of their curriculum. The Basic Pranic Healing
Workshop was held on December 4-5, 2010 in the medical school with 24 medical students
completing the first workshop. This is a first time that a Pranic Healing workshop is
taught by physicians (Drs. Mendoza and Ngo) in an American medical school. This implies that Pranic Healing can be available
as an elective subject in the medical education program. The second class will be held
on April 2-3, 2011.
This initiative was made possible through the efforts of The U.S.
Pranic Healing Center and The Center for Pranic Healing under Master Stephen Co and Glenn
J. Mendoza, M.D., M.P.H. and Christopher Ngo, D.O., a Resident Physician from the Osteopathic
College and a Pranic Healing Instructor. Source: Pranic Healing Exchange. Iss.1-Vol1
